Peter Fedichev, Ph.D.
Co-founder, Chief Science Officer
Peter is a driving force behind Gero scientific efforts. His scientific background lies in the field of condensed matter physics, biophysics and bioinformatics. He has conducted research at Kurchatov Institute, one of the leading science government agencies in Russia, AMOLF, an academic institute for fundamental physics in the Netherlands, and the University of Innsbruck. Acting as the CSO of Gero, Peter continues his studies in the field of aging biology and biophysics and currently has over 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Kristina Zakurdaeva (Khodova) Ph.D., MD
Chief Medical Officer
Kristina has strong clinical and scientific background as well as good business expertise. Before joining Gero she led oncology and immunology R&D projects at the Skolkovo Innovation Center. She also worked as a Scientific Advisor for Oncology at Bristol-Myers Squibb (Russia). Kristina has over 30 publications and co-authored a scientific discovery of functional activity of ribosomal genes individual modification variability. She continues her research activities in oncology and has set up the Foundation for Cancer Research Support aimed to back research that might have a significant impact in oncology.
Chief Executive Officer
Nikolai is a former actuary with a strong background in financial math and risk management. He has more than 10 years of experience in capital markets and risk management in NY (Deloitte, AllianceBernstein, RBC Capital Markets) and Moscow. He held senior positions in global banks and investment companies managing quant projects and large teams.
